Energy Arbitration Conference.

****Posted on behalf of Andreas Ioannides.*****

Hello, this Andreas Ioannides. I am contacting on behalf of the Organising Committee of the upcoming Energy Arbitration Conference. I hope this email finds you well.

I take the opportunity to email information in relation to the Conference now that the student registration is available, at the price of £40.

The Energy Arbitration Conference, that will be held at the Scottish Arbitration Centre (Edinburgh) on Thursday, 29th October, 2015, is organised by a graduate student group from the Centre for Energy, Petroleum and Mineral Law and Policy (CEPMLP) of the University of Dundee.

This Conference will provide a venue where the European energy industry attorneys, arbitrators, academics and professionals can present their experiences, discuss the challenges that may obstruct the development of the industry and the solutions proposed. At the same time it can act as an insight to the industry for interested law, economics, policy and management students, and a great opportunity of network with professionals coming from both local and European law firms.

This high-profile event is intended to provide the attendees with updated knowledge of the current energy arbitration situation from renowned speakers. It will also open a worldwide network platform for professionals and companies with interest on the matter area.

The CEPMLP of the University of Dundee, the Scottish Arbitration Centre (SAC) and the International Centre for Energy Arbitration (ICEA) are involved as principal sponsors and participants. Additionally, the Energy Charter Secretariat (ECS), CMS Cameron McKenna LLP, the International Centre for Dispute Resolution (ICDR), the Energy Arbitrators List (EAL), the International Mediation Institute (IMI) and Menas Associates are involved as supporters and participants.

Please find the programme attached herein or visit the following link to view the full-day Conference programme and speakers: http://www.dundee.ac.uk/media/dundeewebsite/cepmlp/documents/cpdprogrammes/EnergyArbitration.pdf

The Conference is self-funded. There is now a student fee available, at a price less than half the standard registration fee. There is limited availability, therefore register now in order to participating at the leading Conference on the experiences, challenges and dispute settlement in the industry. Please be advised that deadline for registering is Wednesday, 21st October, through http://tinyurl.com/pdhdvm8

We are always available for any questions or if you are in need of further information and help.

On behalf of the Organising Committee,

Kind Regards,

Andreas
